There are some designer labels from the West Coast that are putting a new and creative touch on "Seventies Romance" for spring 2016 bringing a free-spirited take on cotton embroidery and pointelle, honey-toned soft suedes and faded patchwork denim styles. (Miami Beach) From exhibits to parties, attendees at Art Basel wore a wide array of mixed fashion styles from sheer tops, colourful florals to stripes. Here are some of our favorites.

This has to be one of our favorite collections for 2016 thus far. It offers a wide range of knits, trenches and cashmere-wools, sweaters, cottons, vests and jackets, designed as separate pieces that could easily be layered accordingly.
Gustavo Cadile‘s second bridal collection incorporates sensuality and romance with more body-conscious silhouettes in comparison to his debut collection. The new designs for the Fall 2016 collection includes a lovely and elegant floral silk jacquard mermaid skirt that comes with a sleeveless cropped top or a sheer, long-sleeve jacket covered in sparkling floral appliqués — both options equally luxurious and very modern in terms of style. The New York-based Argentinian designer added some of his Latin-inspiration by infusing the looks with a sexy flair, as in a column gown with a ruffled train and a sheer mesh, illusion bustier neckline.
Romona Keveza has successfully been able to design two bridal labels with distinctively different points of view — both of which she showed this season in her intimate penthouse overlooking Rockefeller Plaza. Legends Romona Keveza was up first. Here, she focused on timeless pieces that are convertible, allowing the bride to have two individual looks: elegant, classic gowns perfect for the wedding ceremony — and a sexy party number when the overskirt is removed. In looks ranging from whimsical to sleek, Keveza worked her hand with delicate lace, frothy tulle and beautiful re-embroidered lace appliqués. Among the sea of white, she also gave a nod to love with a bold red corset gown in garden lace. You can view the full collection here via Mondo Bridal
